Kids love weaving. We think its the magic of a single thread becoming a piece of material. We love the pride that comes from the kids as they master a new skill. Most of all we love how weaving is such a peaceful activity.
In this mindful workshop we explore how our brain learns and responds when we make a mistake or challenge. However, kids won’t know they are learning skills for life because we use the weaving as a teacher of these important lessons.
Kids will weave using on a wooden loom to make a hanging weaving and they may even have time to make a simple basket.
